By John Rittenoure - ENID, Okla. (April 6, 2026) - Non-wing sprint cars are coming to Enid Speedway this Saturday.

The United Sprint League will open their season Saturday with the first of three visits scheduled at Enid in 2026. The sprints will headline a show that includes Factory Stocks, Sport Mods / B-Mods, Hot Shots / Tuners and Bombers.

Saturday’s visit will be the first event for USL owners Nick and Ashley Newton of Oklahoma City who purchased the series this past winter.

Last August the USL Sprints made their first appearance at Enid Speedway and Ryker Pace of Collinsville won the main event over Ace Moore of Dodge City, Cameron Hagin of Broken Arrow, Bristow driver Tim Kent and Collinsville’s Craig Carroll.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. Saturday and grandstands open at 5. Hot laps hit the track at 6:45 with racing getting underway at 7:30.
