Sooner Sprints set to invade Enid Speedway on Saturday plus Sport Mods, Ok Factory Stocks, Hot Shots

by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (June 1, 2021) - After more than a month off the winged champ/305 Sooner Sprint Series is ready to resume racing with a stop at Enid Speedway on Saturday (June 5).


Also racing on the Enid Speedway program is Sport Mods, Ok Factory Stocks and Hot Shots in regular season point racing. Brad Sovoie currently leads the Ok Factory Stock points race while Daylon Bergeron tops the Sport Mod race. Makayla Rauschenberg tops the Hot Shot points with one feature win.


Saturday’s feature at the Garfield County Fairgrounds 3/8’s mile oval will pay $1,000-to-win and $200-to-start.

Veteran drivers earned victories in the first two Sooner Sprint Series shows. Danny Smith of Sand Springs won the season opener at Monarch Motor Speedway while Loyd Clevenger topped the field at Oklahoma Sports Park.
