OCRS Sprints visit Enid Speedway Saturday

John Rittenoure - ENID, Okla. (March 31, 2025) - Sprint car racing returns to Enid Speedway on Saturday when the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series visits for a night of winged open wheel racing.


Last year Norman’s Sheldon Barksdale outran Whit Gastineau of Moore for the win at Enid Speedway.


Saturday’s show will be the third event of the OCRS season and Jake Nail of Muskogee comes in as the series points leader in what will be his first appearance on the Enid oval. Kayden Cole of Moore and Gage Laney of Tulsa hold down second and third. Last years winner, Barksdale, currently sits eighth in points.


Factory Stocks, Sport Mods / B-Mods and Hot Shots will be action for their second points race of the season. Landon Maddox leads the factory points race after winning the feature last Saturday. Robert Elliott leads the Sports Mod/B-Mod points racing after picking up his second straight victory, and Racer Costello leads the Hot Shot points race.


Pits open at 4 p.m. Saturday, grandstands at 5. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:45 with racing set to begin at 7:30.
