by John Rittenoure - ENID, Okla. (June 22, 2021) - Racing resumes at Enid Speedway on Saturday with Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Models, Sport Mods, Ok Factory Stocks and Hot Shots racing at 7:30 p.m.
Hayden Ross of Muskogee continues to lead the Sooner Late Model points race, but only leads by 70 points over Kip Hughes.
Hughes is coming off back-to-back wins at Monarch Motor Speedway and Oklahoma Sports Park last weekend and now has four wins on the season coming into Saturday’s race. Ross is still looking for his first win, but has seven top 5 finishes to his credit.
Nine drivers have won in 12 Sooner Series races this season with only Hughes having won more than once.
In Ok Factory Stock action Brad Savoie continues to lead Dustin Choate in the points race. Neither driver has yet to pick up a victory.
Caleb Slater is chasing points leader Daylon Bergeron in the sport mod division. Consistent finishes have kept the pair on top despite no feature wins in the first three shows.
Makayla Rauschenberg is leading the Hot Shot division with one feature victory over Nikk Sands who also has one win.
Pit gates open at 3, grandstands at 4. Gate admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, students age 12-15 is $12. Kids under 12 are FREE.
A fireworks display will take place after the races.
